Harvested September 18th. 100% whole cluster direct to press (no saignee). Cold-settled, racked to tank and barrel, and fermented with native yeasts.
On the nose, notes of stone fruit predominate with aromas of white peach and apricot while a second sniff reveals Albion strawberry. Bright acidity keeps the wine tight on the palate, with a touch of chalkiness and a slightly waxy tangerine peel character. Great for summer evenings or hot-weather lunches.
Elevage: Aged in a stainless steel tank and neutral lFrench oak barrels for 4 months. Racked prior to bottling.
