2019 Pinot Noir “Sonoma Coast”

Harvested September 9th and 24th.  Gently destemmed and fermented in small lots with native yeasts.  Bottled unfined and unfiltered.

Notes of cranberry and strawberry followed by orange blossom are the first impact of this wine.  On the palate, the wine has a graceful, elegant texture.  The supple, refined tannins lend great length to the wine without giving much weight at all.  It’s pretty, perfumey, and feminine.  Don’t let the light body fool you, this wine can spend a few years in your cellar.  The wine might need a little bit of time to reveal more layers of its character but still falls in more of the “drink now” camp.
