Petaluma Gap | Terroir

ter∙roir  n./s.

The characteristic taste and flavor of wine that results from the unique environmental factors in which a particular wine is produced.

Located in the Petaluma Gap AVA, Denman Ranch enjoys a significant maritime influence from the cool winds that travel from the Pacific Ocean through the Petaluma Gap.  The cool-climate site is an integral part of our unique terroir that makes our site perfectly situated for growing Pinot Noir and Chardonnay.

In addition to our estate vineyard, we also source from other, cool-climate vineyards that employ regenerative farming practices.
